Graham consults from the Osseo Suites at Greenslopes Private Hospital and has onsite hand therapy and physiotherapy and operates at both Greenslopes Private Hospital and St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in Spring Hill.
Osseo Specialist Suites are located in The Nicholson Specialist Centre onsite at Greenslopes Private Hospital. Paid parking is available on site, and street parking is available, we recommend parking on Nicholson Street. A bus stop and taxi rank are located on Newdegate Street.
Greenslopes Private Hospital provides a free shuttle bus service (The GPH Express) which runs approximately every 15 – 20 minutes between Greenslopes Translink Busway Station and the main entrance of Greenslopes Private Hospital between 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Your Appointment
Please bring with you to your initial and subsequent appointments:
- Referral letter from your General Practitioner
- Your Xray, CT, MRI or any other imaging that you have had performed
- Pathology results and/or nerve conduction studies
- Details of medical history and a list of medications that you take as well as any allergies that you may have
- Details about your health funds
- Private Health Insurance card, Medicare or Veterans’ Affairs card
- Work Cover patients please bring a claim number, injury date, employer and insurer details
- Previously prescribed splints or aids that you use
- A copy of previous operation reports
It is helpful to wear clothing that allows for easy examination. Dr Irvin encourages bringing a family member or friend if you require support.
Fees
Dr Irvin’s reception staff will be able to provide an initial consultation fee and a review consultation fee, and the cost of surgery can be discussed at the time of booking as it depends on your procedure, health fund and level of coverage.
Most of the surgical fees are based on recommendations provided by the Australian Medical Association. Dr Irvin will explain fees including estimates of both the total fee and the out-of-pocket costs to the patient.
Costs separate to Dr Irvin’s fees include the hospital, the Anaesthetist and the surgical assistant. Other fees may include pharmacy, radiology and pathology and hand therapy or physiotherapy fees. Dr Irvin’s reception staff can provide you with the details to find out this information.
